A wonderful pair of Regency Sheffield-plate wine coolers, of ribbed and fluted vase form, armorial engraved and leafy branch handles and rocaille decorated borders, complete with detachable liners. England C-1820-30  10" tall.

The arms are those of Dalgrains with Dobree in pretence for William Dalgrains and his wife, who were parents of John Dobree Dalgrains (1818-1876), priest of the London Oratory and author.
